If you are an owner, tenant or resident, administrator or member of a board of directors of a building or residential complex, at some point you must face the question, how do I improve the communication and security of my complex? the main idea and so far the most effective is the intelligent video intercom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how to choose, why choose and the main thing which is the most effective? well, in our blog we are going to talk about six things you should know to choose a suitable intercom system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. That you do not have to provide personal data to third parties.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Security statistics indicate that 80% of home break-ins within complexes are due to security gaps in the information or data leaking out. In other words, naively and unsuspectingly sharing the cell phone number of the father, his wife, and children, the home's landline phone, or even their emails.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Providing this type of information to third parties outside our nucleus of family, friends and people we trust exposes us to being victims of theft and fraud such as rides and millionaire calls. Under this last modality, they mainly deceive children, older adults and employees of the service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have even been multiple thefts due to the information provided by some unscrupulous security and surveillance people of the buildings, who act in complicity with the criminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution: Look for a door system that does not require you to deliver your personal data to any member of the building and that in any case keeps your information encrypted in an asymmetric encryption system through the use of highly complex algorithms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Portability of the interphone inside our cell phone. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When robbers plan to burglarize homes, they first make sure there are no people inside. A simple way is to go to the goal and announce yourself through the interphone. If we have a citophony system that has portability within our cell phone, thieves and even the surveillance personnel of our building will not know that we are answering the call from anywhere in the world. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, having the interphone housed inside our smartphone guarantees us to have complete control of it, preventing decisions to enter our home from being made even by service employees or any other person.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine having an exclusive application like WhatsApp for your group, which guarantees the privacy of information, a personalized communication channel for the administration to communicate individually or in groups with residents or owners, or better yet, a newsletter for make known all the events of the residential community, with instant messages that arrive directly to their cell phone screen without having to open their private emails.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm not talking about creating a private group on WhatsApp, I'm talking about having the building's own internal messaging system hosted within a mobile app for the interphone on the cell phone of each resident or owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simplifying the number of tasks and facilitating the communication processes of the whole is a challenge that assists the entire residential community in general and not just the administrator.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Visitor log with video and history log <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you enter a reception and they ask you for your name and the ID number to leave it in a minute, what is your impression? Now, when you arrive at the same reception, but the system captures your photographic image and they ask you for your identification card to capture the bar code and store the information in the intelligent intercom system, your impression changes. Surely yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first scenario makes your building or residential complex look old and outdated while becoming a perfect opportunity to impersonate someone. The second scenario shows efficient, agile and state-of-the-art access control for visitors and homes, which guarantees the integrity of residents and their property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An intercom system should not be restricted to just making calls to and from the gatehouse, it should go further, such as showing residents the real-time video of the visitor or home that is announced at the gatehouse and leaving a historical record with data and photography , hosted on your cell phone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Installation cost and complexity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Installing a door system for the first time at the time was one of the most tedious tasks on the market, opening holes in the walls for wiring and waiting for everything to go well is one of the tasks that no resident and administrator would want to have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, when choosing a door system, the ideal is for it to be a wireless 100% and to seek to optimize the installation processes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Maintenance free of wired networks.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This point constitutes the biggest headache of residential complexes and buildings, not only old but even recent around the interphone system. The infrastructure of telecommunications networks with which they were built is designed to accommodate, at most, in each dwelling only the telephone pair for the fixed telephone and another pair for the wired interphone.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the years went by, new communications service providers of all kinds of internet and television, electronic security such as closed circuit television, access control, alarms, etc., began to excessively share networks and existing ducts in buildings, with the aggravating circumstance of the delay in the adoption and implementation in Colombia of the Technical Regulation for Internal Telecommunications Networks - RITEL, which came into force only as of the middle of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, RITEL obliges builders to implement, in new horizontal property buildings, the proper communications infrastructure and connections so that communications operators can offer a good provision of their services, and they are obliged to install the equipment and necessary cables to bring a better signal to homes, without detriment and invasion of other existing networks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is for this reason that most of the wired door entry systems installed in today's buildings present numerous problems. On the other hand, their technologically obsolete equipment operates worse every day and sometimes they are not even available in the country. All this makes your day-to-day maintenance more complex and costly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution: Look for a door system that does not depend on wiring inside the dwellings, such as the intelligent video door phone that takes the door phone to the resident's cell phone, offering greater and better services that are impossible to supply for traditional wired door phones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Que no tengas que proporcionar datos personales a terceros.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Las estad\u00edsticas de seguridad\nindican que en un 80% de los robos de viviendas dentro de los conjuntos, son\ndebidos a huecos de seguridad en la informaci\u00f3n o datos que se filtran hacia el\nexterior.  En otras palabras, compartir de\nforma ingenua y desprevenida el n\u00famero celular del padre, su esposa, e hijos,\nel tel\u00e9fono fijo de la vivienda o incluso sus correos electr\u00f3nicos.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proporcionar este tipo de\ninformaci\u00f3n a terceros ajenos a nuestro n\u00facleo de familiares, amigos y personas\nde nuestra confianza nos expone a ser v\u00edctimas de robos y fraudes tales como\nlos paseos y llamadas millonarias. Bajo esta \u00faltima modalidad enga\u00f1an principalmente\na ni\u00f1os, adultos mayores y a empleadas del servicio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incluso se ha llegado a presentar\nm\u00faltiples robos por la informaci\u00f3n que suministran algunas personas inescrupulosas\nde seguridad y vigilancia de las edificaciones, que act\u00faan en complicidad con\nlos malhechores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soluci\u00f3n: Busca una citofon\u00eda que\nno requiera entregar tus datos personales a ning\u00fan miembro de la edificaci\u00f3n y que\nen cualquier caso la informaci\u00f3n tuya la mantenga encriptada en un sistema de cifrado\nasim\u00e9trico mediante el empleo de algoritmos alta complejidad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Portabilidad del cit\u00f3fono dentro de nuestro celular. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cuando los atracadores planean el\nrobo de viviendas, se aseguran primero que no haya personas dentro de\nellas.   Una forma sencilla es dirigirse\na la porter\u00eda y anunciarse mediante el cit\u00f3fono.  Si contamos con un sistema de citofon\u00eda que\ntenga portabilidad dentro de nuestro celular, los ladrones e incluso el\npersonal de vigilancia de nuestra edificaci\u00f3n no sabr\u00e1n que estamos atendiendo\nla llamada desde cualquier lugar del mundo. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\u00ed mismo tener el cit\u00f3fono\nalojado dentro de nuestro celular inteligente nos garantiza tener el control completo\ndel mismo, evitar que las decisiones de ingreso a nuestra vivienda las tome\nincluso las empleadas de servicio o cualquier otra persona.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Un canal de comunicaci\u00f3n eficiente entre la administraci\u00f3n y los residentes o propietarios. <\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Teniendo en cuenta que\nadministrador es el ente conector entre residentes, propietarios y la propiedad\nhorizontal en general, debe contar con un medio efectivo y \u00e1gil de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine tener un aplicativo como\nWhatsApp exclusivo para tu conjunto, que garantice la privacidad de la\ninformaci\u00f3n, un canal de comunicaci\u00f3n personalizado para que la administraci\u00f3n se\ncomunique de forma individual o grupal con los residentes o propietarios, o\nmejor a\u00fan, un bolet\u00edn de noticias para dar a conocer todos los acontecimientos\nde la comunidad residencial, con mensajes instant\u00e1neos  que lleguen directamente a la pantalla del celular\nde ellos sin que se tengan que abrir sus correos privados.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No hablo de crear un grupo\nprivado en WhatsApp, hablo de tener un sistema propio de mensajer\u00eda interno de\nla edificaci\u00f3n alojado dentro de una aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil del cit\u00f3fono en el\ncelular de cada residente o propietario. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simplificar la cantidad de tareas\ny facilitar los procesos de comunicaci\u00f3n del conjunto es un reto que le asiste\na toda la comunidad residencial en general y no solo al administrador.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Registro de visitantes con video y registro de historial <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cuando ingresas a una recepci\u00f3n y\nte piden tu nombre y el n\u00famero de la c\u00e9dula para dejarlo en una minuta, \u00bfcu\u00e1l\nes tu impresi\u00f3n? Ahora bien, cuando llegas a la misma recepci\u00f3n, pero el\nsistema captura tu imagen fotogr\u00e1fica y te piden tu cedula para capturar el c\u00f3digo\nde barras y alojar la informaci\u00f3n en el sistema de citofon\u00eda inteligente, tu\nimpresi\u00f3n cambia.  \u00a1Seguro que s\u00ed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El primer escenario hace ver tu edificio\no conjunto residencial como viejo y anticuado a la vez que se convierte en una\noportunidad perfecta para suplantar a alguien. El segundo escenario muestra un\ncontrol de accesos de visitantes y domiciliaros eficiente, \u00e1gil y de vanguardia,\nque garantiza la integridad de los residentes y sus bienes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un sistema de citofon\u00eda no debe restringirse\ntan solo a efectuar llamadas desde y hacia porter\u00eda, debe ir m\u00e1s lejos, como mostrar\na los residentes el video en tiempo real del visitante o domiciliario que se\nanuncia en porter\u00eda y dejar un registro hist\u00f3rico con datos y fotograf\u00eda,\nalojado en su celular. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se puede llegar a creer que un\nsistema de citofon\u00eda con estas prestaciones es excesivamente costoso, o que\nsolo est\u00e1 disponible para pa\u00edses de avanzada en tecnolog\u00eda, pero en realidad en\nel mercado colombiano ya encuentras sistemas de video citofon\u00eda inteligente como\nestos a precios realmente sorprendentes y 100% confiables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.  Costo de la instalaci\u00f3n y complejidad<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Instalar un sistema de citofon\u00eda\npor primera vez en su momento fue una de las tareas m\u00e1s tediosas que hab\u00eda en\nel mercado, abrir huecos en las paredes para cablear y esperar que todo salga\nbien es una de las tareas que ning\u00fan residente y administrador quisiera tener. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por tal raz\u00f3n a la hora de\nescoger una citofon\u00eda, lo ideal es que sea en un 100% inal\u00e1mbrica y que busque optimizar\nlos procesos de instalaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Libre de Mantenimientos de redes cableadas.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Este punto constituye el mayor dolor\nde cabeza de los conjuntos y edificaciones residenciales no solamente antiguos\nsino incluso recientes en torno a la citofon\u00eda.  La infraestructura de redes de telecomunicaciones\ncon que se construyeron est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para albergar a lo sumo en cada vivienda tan\nsolo el par telef\u00f3nico para el tel\u00e9fono fijo y otro par para el cit\u00f3fono\ncableado.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con el pasar de los a\u00f1os fueron\nllegando nuevos proveedores de servicios de comunicaciones de toda \u00edndole de\ninternet y televisi\u00f3n, de seguridad electr\u00f3nica como circuitos cerrados de\ntelevisi\u00f3n, control de accesos, alarmas, etc., que empezaron a compartir en\nforma desmedida las redes y ductos existentes en las edificaciones,  con la circunstancia agravante de la dilaci\u00f3n  en la adopci\u00f3n e implementaci\u00f3n en Colombia  del Reglamento T\u00e9cnico para Redes Internas de\nTelecomunicaciones \u2013 RITEL, que entr\u00f3 en vigencia tan solo a partir de mediados\ndel a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El RITEL obliga de una parte a\nlos constructores a implementar en las nuevas edificaciones de propiedad horizontal,\nla debida infraestructura de comunicaciones y acometidas para que los\noperadores de comunicaciones puedan ofrecer una buena prestaci\u00f3n de sus\nservicios y de \u00e9stos la obligaci\u00f3n de instalar los equipos y cables necesarios para\nllevar a los hogares una mejor se\u00f1al, sin detrimento e invasi\u00f3n de las dem\u00e1s redes\nexistentes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es por esta raz\u00f3n que la mayor\u00eda\nde los sistemas de citofon\u00eda al\u00e1mbricos instalados en las edificaciones\nactuales presentan numerosos problemas.   De otra parte, sus equipos obsoletos\ntecnol\u00f3gicamente operan cada d\u00eda peor y en ocasiones ni siquiera hay\ndisponibilidad de ellos en el pa\u00eds. Todo esto hace que sus mantenimientos d\u00eda\ntras d\u00eda sean m\u00e1s complejos y costosos <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soluci\u00f3n: Busca un sistema de citofon\u00eda\nque no dependa de cableado al interior de las viviendas, tal como la video\ncitofon\u00eda inteligente que lleva el cit\u00f3fono al celular del residente ofreciendo\nmayores y mejores prestaciones de servicios imposibles de suplir para la\ncitofon\u00eda cableada tradicional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
